Mallorca have signed Spanish midfielder Francisco Javier Farinos on loan from Internazionale.
Farinos has struggled to establish himself in Serie A after moving to Inter from Valencia four years ago.
He spent the second half of the 2002/03 season back in La Liga on loan to Villarreal and had been linked with a return to the Yellow Submarines last term.
But he stayed at Giuseppe Meazza and played a bit-part role as Inter once again missed out on silverware.
New Inter coach Roberto Mancini has assessed his squad and decided Farinos will not play a significant part in his plans.
The 26-year-old was left out of the party for the UEFA Champions League qualifier against Basel on Wednesday, a signal he had no future with the Nerazzurri.
Mallorca have now offered Farinos regular football with a season-long loan for which the Balearic side will subsidise the midfielder's wages.
Meanwhile, Inter have rebuffed Galatasaray's bid to take Turkey international Emre Belozoglu back to his homeland.
Inter are not particularly willing to sell Emre, especially as Gala's bid fell way short of their valuation.
